Joe,

Careful with the comments about DDSI's technology. To my knowledge, there is NO system that will match mug shots with fingerprints. And while DDSI's livescan technology sounds extremely promising, until it is approved by the FBI, no law enforcement agency in this country will look at it. A further complicating factor is the long purchase cycles involved in the public sector.

Here in Minnesota, the state agency responsible for this technology hasn't even heard of DDSI's technology yet and will definitely not look at it until it is approved by the FBI.

At this time, most jurisdictions and agencies that are moving to livescan technology already have committed to existing technology (very expensive, I might add). So, for them to change direction at this point means abandoning technology they've already spent a ton on, something most public sector agencies are loathe to do.

That's not to say that DDSI's technology isn't the next wave, but profits may be a long way off, at least on the livescan front.

Of course, that has little to do with the stock price. Get enough people on the bandwagon and it will certainly move--at least short-term.

Best of luck,

Rick
