Jim - Re:"ComPUSA" I just finished listening to H. Compton, the big cheese at COMPUSA, on CNBC. His cooments (selected): Regarding Salomon's Mr. Childes' prediction: "His crystal ball is no better than anyone else's: Re:$1000 PC/First Time Buyer: "COMPUSA's first time buyer genarlly wants a full blown system, not a cheap entry level system" Re:Inventory Positions: "COMPUSA is very comfortable with their current inventory position". His basic premise seemed to be that COMPUSA's business has been very good and that he thinks it will continue to be good. Speaking from Texas, I hope he's aware of the Prop 211 issues in California. Unfortunately, I think COMPUSA's stock is getting hammered for a second day in a row. Salomon must have unloaded all their CompUSA stock on Monday. Paul
