There is so much junk mail going to AOL subscribers that ron probably won't notice a few more.

Re Borders Group:

If the valuations are so goofy, then he obviously should take his oh so valuable internet book shop and let the public buy in, with a partial spinoff via a stock offering. He should have Borders hold on to 51% or so. Let the market bid up the value of the 51% Borders stake. Then cash in his Borders stock options, and make himself and (to a lesser extent) his stockholders rich without the risk he is so aware of.

This is actually a better strategy for Barnes and Noble.
