Ike,

If that project manager tells you any more lies like that tell him 1king will have to come back to Labrador and kick his ass too. Just kidding! He was an associate of mine and the best exploration manager in Labrador period (kissy kissy). I am sure Mr. Sparkes was misquoted as the "Eastern Deeps" was "discovered" (I use this term very loosely as I do not want to offend the other twenty people who discovered Voisey Bay... ok Terry) around hole 166. I believe Wheels spotted that one on a spectacular HLEM phenomena <g>.

If you check some of the stories posted by one T. Crebs I believe the ovoid was discovered on hole #7 by Mr. Sparkes and Mr. Chislett and Mr. Verbiski. Oops! did I say that or did I think it??? Have to wait for the poop and fan :-)

15 million a quarter for drilling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
200+ kilometres!?
Mental note to 1King: "next exploration program: PAY ATTENTION"

RE: my drilling figure: 166/2=83 i.e. <96. Perhaps someone could breakdown the 96/97 drilling for us. I assume you are implying that last years program "by Teck" was a better program. I disagree but that is just one persons opinion.

You only need deep drilling now, if you wish to skip the top 0-300m in your exploration program. You start at the surface and systematically work your way down, "deep drilling" is a temporal excuse. It should form the tertiary portion of "systematic exploration". That has severely lacked at SVB up to and including 1997. Next thing someone will tell me they plan to do MT! Spare us all! We finally managed to ween them off the detailed gravity kick.

Lets put it this way, and you can check with the Teck web site on this one: and here I quote a senior Teck VP "Teck is a mine builder not a mine finder". They live up to that motto every day!

Lots O Luck!

1King
