I don't think anybody here thought that it's a trivial task to integrate FC fabric into these high volume players's clustering scheme of servers/RAIDs. On the contrary, it's this complexity of the whole solution which lead me to believe that for any new startups other than Brocade and Ancor to get into FC switch business is very tough. You have to agree that the servers/Storage industry is moving full steam ahead into using FC. Brocade and Ancor will succeed.
Question to you, why $500 per port is that important? Thanks.
