What ever they did, I'm still expecting 20 hours of "Expert on Demand" troubleshooting that I paid 5K (part of the 41K). If did away with technical support, the VAR market will figure this out really fast and the product will be a tough sale. Sniffers are very complicated products. End users just can't purchase them and set them up like PC's. Almost, anyone who uses the product, will have to have training. I'm not necessary worried about my purchase. But I'm worried about the company!!! I suppose, when earnings is reported we will see a lot of special charges to offset the layoffs, discount products, or anything else they can drum up to make it look better then it really is. A write off is still a loss no matter how you present it. "I'm sure the marketing people will give a rosy view of the future...ask them to put it in writing!" The a few sales people, I've talk to lately, has left the company. They have been complaining about the poor management for some time. Ken
