james...Dell did say things were growing exponentially and that by the end of this month they would not be selling any machines with less than P2 chips. It is high end stuff or nothing for them, mentioning the need to handle applications associated with Bann, Peoplesoft, and SAP. Said product looses 1% per week while sitting in channel and he figured a 10 week advantage over CPQ. He didn't want to handle end of life cycle products and especially with product transitions coming. Dell was actually trading higher before he spoke than at the level it closed. Medium and small commercial account growth through web sales strong. steve
