WIND *is* doing nicely, no doubt there. However, many indicators
still put INTS well ahead. Example, a survey of readers of
Embedded Systems Programming magazine (the embedded industry's
top trade rag) shows INTS being used by 22% to WIND's 14% of
engineers (this spread is up significantly from prior years'
surveys). Furthermore, INTS can claim 12 million installed
copies of pSOS, a number WIND can't touch. The bottom line
is there is leadership in terms of marketing hype and there's
leadership in terms of actual product use. There are just
simply more projects and products using pSOS than VxWorks.
