Can anyone familiar with the technology speak to the issue of patent protection and reverse engineering? Pyng believes they have excellent patent protection because they believe their patents give them proprietary rights to their mechanism for penetrating the sternal notch to the correct depth for different patients. What prospect is there for a potential competitor to reverse engineer and try to invent around this patent protection? I gather from Pyng that the sternal notch is a preferred point of entry.
