I stand corrected! I spoke with Betty Davis this morning. She informed me that at the time the SSI partnership announcement,(Spaceport Systems International)they were taken out of the START and have ever since been in negotiations to comply with the treaty. She also said that they got a call a couple of weeks ago from the interested party in South America (I understand that is the government of Columbia)and said they are ready to go once things are resolved in Washington. Mrs Davis thought it would all be wrapped up this week, but then said it's already Thursday and tomorrow is Good Friday. I guess that means next week. Those of us who have been in EPEA for quite a while have heard "next week" a lot. Any way, lets hope for the best. -Flier
