Hi Bernard,

There is truth in what you just said. Global started out as a mom and pop shop with much enthusiasm and limited skills. No question. Give Jensen credit for keeping this company alive for multiple years. And despite plenty of bumbling and errors the company has made much progress.

I first visited the mill in June 1996. I recall that I observed 4 electrowinning tanks trying to produce sludge. Every conceivable ingredient was being used to speed the process which was painfully slow. Believe it or not they even tried honey! Consider how far they have come since then! Remember, this company was never funded properly. It has operated on half a shoe string.. The erors committed would have been fewer with adequate financing.

More specifically, the company has started to professionalize itself with the establishment of a company office, hiring Dennis DeNoble and some other personnel. And I expect that there will soon be other upgrading.

To me the bottom line is not the errors of management and the blind alleys. It is the quality and quantity of the deposits Global controls. This will trump managerial deficiencies which only cost time. But the deposits are timeless.

Regards, Ed
