I've just started looking this over. Here are a few thoughts:

1.) Inventories are substantially higher than they were in 1Q97. 2Q is always a slow quarter and this is not a company known for reliable inventory management.

2.) Glad the rest of the pack belatedly picked up on the pricing pressure issue. Also glad Diamond management has learned to present a picture vaguely resembling reality to its shareholders.

3.) v.90 is only going to depress prices in the 56k segment even further.

I'd think about exiting and only start to think about re-entering sometime towards the end of 2Q depending on the sales-out picture. Again, the bottom line is that there is more money to be made elsewhere.
