After all that, you actually told the guy to have a nice day?! You and Penni are in need of serious counseling.

To be pleasant to telephone solicitors, that lowest of low lifeforms who have the temerity to invade your domicile, usually at dinnertime or some other inopportune moment, and the tenacity of a pit bull when you endeavor to politely excuse yourself from their telephonic grip on your very existence because you have absolutely no interest in what they have to say or sell, is downright un-American! Just my opinion.
