Just a quick update to my post. To be medically correct the terminology palpable tissue is tissue that you can feel with your hand, in addition each process is also able to detect non-palpable tissue as well. Angiogenesis is actually what produces the thermal signature. Refer to Dr. Kirk's posting for an explanation. Barbara
