It seems that often the best way for a non-expert to play
international exposure is via proven mutual funds rather
than individual companies or bonds. I've chosen Benham European
Gov't Bond and Janus Worldwide.

As far as AgTech, a segment I'm always watching, it seems that it's
hard to find anything that appears undiscovered, and the stocks
are either unreasonably high or rightfully downtrodden.

I keep watching INTC go up, but it is also quite volatile and
scary at times. It seems everyone is recommending it as a core
holding these days. Not too long ago, it was in everyone's doghouse.
It would have taken a lot of courage to hold on during the fall or
to buy at the bottom.

Something that catches my eye in your portfolio though is Merck.
What are your reasons for making it a core long term holding? I'm looking for exposure in this area.
