Explanation of the problem? IT is 15 min delayed for NASDAQ, 20 min delayed for NYSE & AMEX. Data feed to IT charts and T&S stops at market close, i.e. 4 PM. Thus, last info on tick chart or T&S is really data as of 3:45 (or 3:40 respectively). This is so even though time on charts and in T&S display would lead you to think its real time. Verification: In trading, I've seen my order get filled in real time, noted the trades before and after and later seen the same trades on IT time displaced. Absent getting data for an additional period after the close so that IT can "catch up", no fix. Daily charts and last trade info is updated later.
