You should not love or hate a company- be dispassionate. I save my
love for my wife, children, grandchildren and my dog. Not in that
order, but... When MSFT or any of my other stocks no longer meet
my original assumptions, I'm out. Love and hate are precious. I
save them for things that count.

Re: Lessig again

Per memoir: He originally had some version of Nav. He added IE.
He lost his Bookmarks. At this point uncertainty creeps in. He
lost his Bookmarks either when he added IE or when he went back
to Nav. I speak for all of the computer users with between zero
and a little knowledge. So what. You should expect problems when
you make changes to your software. But believe me when I say
that IE & Nav have now have become almost idiot proof. Even so,
I have a backup file of favorites. To bitch about loosing your bookmarks is really childish. it sounds just like Haahvud.
Subtle, deft sycophancy. It sounds like he was hustling for
consulting work.

Mama, Mama I want to sue Microsoft for 10 billion dollars. They
made me loose my bookmarks. No lets get all of the states
A G, the DOJ to join us in the law suit and we'll make it 80
billion. All of it to the lawyers and the politicians. You can
trust lawyers and politicians|
