I think if one of the launches carrying 12 G* sats goes boom, that would qualify. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a huge drop in LOR if that happened, certainly there would be one in GSTRF.

From my perspective, though, I agree with you because "long" to me means selling in 2003, or later. So, a delay in the initiation of service (if it doesn't prevent the ultimate initiation of service) would be a chance for me to get more money in at the earlier valuations.

I saw a video of George Gilder the other day saying that data traffic is growing 100 times faster than phone traffic, particularly due to extranets and companies using the net for private comms. If that remains the case then Cyberstar may be just as significant as Globalstar is to Loral in the next decade.
