albert - Another PC manufacturer to Build a Celeron PC

It's only Packard Bell, but they sell a lot of PCs!

Looks like they want to get $1200 for that machine - seems kind of high to me.

Well, that makes 2 Celeron design wins - Dell and PAckard-Bell.

The count is 2...and climbing, albert!

"The new line also includes Packard Bell's first
266-MHz Intel Celeron-based PC, the model
710, which retails for $1,199. The company
decided against introducing a step-up piece, the
model 715, which would have come with a digital
video disk-ROM drive. Packard Bell is also
shipping a $1,399 266-MHz Intel Pentium
II-based piece, along with several 333-MHz
Pentium II models, one of which is equipped with
a DVD-ROM drive. "
