Bearshark, as I stated some time ago, the low inflation combined with market euphoria and extreme valuation makes this market a very difficult call.

The secret power of a TA tool is at times that it is proven and few know about it. The performance of same TA toll at a time that every one knows it is questionable, as WS may set up the trap and then get every one at the end.

If it was so easy to make money - e.g. feed your computer data and VOALA market moves as predicted then why work?? just speculate <gggg>

I subscribe to two trading pattern - TA for daily/intraday trades (close before 4PM) and more fundamental/TA trades for several days/weeks. OPTIONS, always try to sell premium not buy it!! it is more risky but also more profitable. - conclusion do not be a pig, hedge!!

Long Term Investing is a story which fits WS brokers not the average investor. It happened that since 1981 WS is right if you invested in the INDEXES!!! As to single stock issue performance vary fom -100% to +500% or more <ggg>. YHOO any one??

Polaroid or US Steel and many others for example, do not fit the criteria of buy and hold. Investing should be a balancing act between day trading and the so called "long term investing"

As to your next week scenario it is quite simple if first days are down the remainder of the week will be up or vice versa. My logic WS will collect most of the premium on the option either way.

That's expiration week foolies <gggg>

Those are my 2 cents.
