Thanks, Sparky, for your prompt response. It's usually
spelled a little differently, so it is curious. My father
and I have a shop and sell out-of-print and rare books.
In an old Michigan Gazeteer, a saw that a few Michigan
towns did indeed have Beardslees as earliest settlers and
I was told that those in our family ran the first hotel on
Lake Michigan, the Beardslee Hotel. Anyway, ASND's #s were
WAY better than 3COMS, and look at how well 3COM did after
reporting not-so-good #s. 3COM and ASND, the whole networking
sector, are ready to rally, I believe, as the toughest parts
of the mergers are finally behind them.
