It is the integral of all applications and capabilities of PCs that gives rise to its usefulness and pervasiveness. Ask yourself this - with your opinion that new CPU speeds are unneeded, why are AMD and Cyrix doing their d*amndest to get their K6 and MediaGX/6x86MX speeds up to compete with Intel? If your answer is "To Stay in Business", then you may have answered your other question. Paul
