After the merger, Ciba Specialty Chemicals was spun off to the
Swiss share holders. As a holder of Sandoz, then Novartis I was
given cash. I did buy some shares of Ciba SC-csysf. It has gone
from the original price of about 92 to over 130, while the Swiss
Frank had gone from something like 125 to 150.

The top management of Ciba must buy Ciba stock equal to one year
of pay. This must concentrate their minds enormously.
