Lord : As you hung on the cross waiting for your final breath, and as you endured the pain and anguish that YOUR FATHER allowed the ROMAN SOLDIERS to liberally visit upon you; 1998 years ago today ! We thank you and praise you for having the presence of mind to remember James Barrett and all of the posters on this thread, as you endured mortal wounds. Just as it pleased your Father to bruise you and to kill you; so also does it please Your Father to have us express satisfaction, and gratitude, and faith and peace and comfort in the knowledge that your sacrifice was sufficient for salvation for the sins of the whole world. For Lord it is not your will that any should perish; but that all should come into the knowledge of salvation by the ONLY remedy you have provided for our transgressions. For here is no other pathway save for the narrow path that led to the cross at Calvary. Amen.
