Well Ray,

The CEOs for VVUS are accused of insider trading in the class action. It is alleged that they (all of the CEOs) knew the true condition of the company and the prospect of bigger problems ahead such as the drastic reduced revenues due to the new plant start up.

They painted a pie in sky future to the analysis. In the interim, they sold off large chunks of their stock options for a clean 6.5 million dollar profit. After that, they dropped the conference call bomb on the public with the true financial condition. That caused the VVUS stock to drop like a rock.

Hey, the way this stock has continued to go down I would join the class action. You have nothing to lose and you may get something back if their are successful in proving their case. You still get to keep your stock if you are long anyway. Eventually, this turkey will turn around and we all can start to make money again.
