allow me a moment of your time before you click on (with your Java ring) The Masters. I was wondering. If you ban PCs for all of your minions at sunw, how are they to be productive when flying? I don't get it. Any normal worker bee would just crack open the notebook and get to work. What do YOU do to stay productive, that is when there isn't a game on, while flying for business?
Also, you spend plenty of time talking about the wave of appliances that will soon be upon us. But a question for you before you get up for another beer. The only REAL set top box that sells now is MSFT's WEB TV. It sells more and more each month. You bought DIBA, but where is the product? Also, you are starting to see many hand held computers based on CE, but nary a one based on JAVA OS. Where are they? If you don't start getting them out, won't msft have built a large lead? And you know what happens when msft gets a lead. They had 2000 developers at a CE conference!!!
Now it looks like Sony is getting behind CE in a major way, and just a week or so since the java love fest!! But I have to hand it to you. You did bag the ELEPHANT, MOTOROLA. What a coup!!! I'm sure that java will be just the thing they need to lead them out of their funk.
