I am just saying that there may be folks in the doj that have nothing better to do. The Sherman act is extremely complicated and it is very difficult to say yes it does or not it does not apply. However, the anti-trust laws are being used stiffle promote creativity and innovation. Would you go out and create the next greatest drug, software, etc. if you knew that the reward was a suit by your own government?
I have stated before and will continue to state that there are certain standards that need to be met in all areas. A plug will fit in an electrical outlet everywhere in the US. Is this the result of collusion and monopoly power? Every electrical appliance in the US runs on 120 volts, etc.
The Lawyers on both sides need to step back and get a better grasp of the big picture.
All, of course, my own opinions.
David.
