Any thoughts on international acquisitions?

Stated plans include expansion into 4 Asian and 10 European markets. The quickest way to do so is to lease/acquire capacity from an existing provider or acquire such a provider. There is a Canadian company called Teleglobe (NYSE: TGO) that is one of the largest international providers of both fiber and satellite based capacity. This is the company that QWST got their European capacity from earlier this year in a swap agreement. There apparently are some Canadian regulatory hurdles that would prevent an outright acquisition. Market cap is $2+ billion, PE of 30. There is a small SI thread on this company.

Has anyone else given this "piece of the puzzle" any thought? Are there any other candidates for acquiring this international capacity?
