You make some interesting points. This stock has been a great one for watching the effect marketing can have on a business.

The whole AOL business model is actually quite simple.
1. Get the customers
2. Get the money

They seem to be doing that. Whether they are properly valued is anybody's guess. But Netscape still maintains a much higher valuation so there could be an argument that AOL is undervalued as an internet stock relative to the market's valuation of that sector.

I think the slogan "I need my AOL" will work.
