Micron is part of BX440 and windows 98 ! I want to talk about this ! Windows 98 (1) Many monitors, each running different program. (2) True Digital sound over the internet, not 1929 radio (3) System File Checker...The Micron tech can ask your computer what the problem is...he will not need your explain of the little icon is ... (4) USB 127 separate peripherals at once....12-megabit-per-second transfer rate... (5) USB delivers "electrical power too" (6) True plug-and-play for scanners,digital video cameras,etc plug in without turn computer off (7) Instant on...by having "on stuff" on an area on hard disk (8) etc,etc ...................... Now my take: (1) Windows 3.1 was too slow for 386 (2) Windows 95 was too slow for 486 (3) Does take brains to figure out windows 98 will be too slow for the old Pentiums...with that old 66Mhz bus speed and VERY SLOW DRAM ........................... Comments ? Discussion ? Larry Dudash PS: Tonight Digital Jam was talking about "video email" rather then just plain text.
