<<Can you say a little more about your experiences with Virtual PC? What programs do you feel comfortable running on it, with say a 233 G3 Mac and VPC 2.0?>>

I've only used VPC 1.0 on a Powermac 8500/120 with 32MB Ram. I only allocated 200 MB of hard drive space to the C:\ drive and the most complex test that I ran on it was running Mech Warrior II and Windows 95 on it. It was slow. Like, fire a shot and wait for it to hit after a sip of coffee slow. I estimate maybe a 486/66 kind of speed.

A friend of mine used it to run a beta of Windows 98 on a machine with a similar setup (I think he may have had 64 MB and allocated a gig of space for it. Also he had a PowerMac 8500/200) He seemed pleased with the results. I think he also ran NT 4.0 and NT 5.0 beta on it with success.

I expect to get VPC 2.0 together with a G3 sometime soon. I'll let you know the results.
