Christine, this is a very true comment. History speaks of nothing that implies God rained volcanic ash only on Sodom and Gomorrah. But it is rather a stretch that ancient Isrealites made up a story which totally jells with all known knowledge of this site and what obviously happened and when.

But, no, factual history certainly does not say a thing about God doing anything. And when He obviously did something, factual historians have buried it so deep that much of historical knowledge is even now buried in the Vatican vaults with a release date of 2300 I think. Something insane. All records of the existence of the Poor KNights of the Temple which were all over the place were confiscated. And are rotting in the vatican vaults. Lots of stuff probably is. So, no, history is not the record of God. The Bible is.
