Brian - Re: "For every 1000 wafers on .25 micron at 50% yield AMD produces 2M K6-3D"

Good grief, MAN! Do the MATH!

You are saying AMD will produce 2,000 (2,000,000/1000) GOOD FUNCTIONAL K6-3D devices PER WAFER!

Do you know the size of the K6-3D?

Hint - It is 81 sq. mm.

There are only 387 MAXIMUMUM THEORETICAL DIE SITES on an 8 inch wafer!

But you think AMD will make 2,000 good K6-3D out of a "possible" 387!

I love your math!

Such imagination!
