I believe these are some great topics to discuss. The guys may have some very good insights also, but I will look them over and spend some time tomorrow thinking about what it means. Perpetua I didn't know about until yesterday on PBS. I know about Antipas. It is recorded that right before they did him in they shouted, "Don't you know the entire world is against you, Antipas?" And Antipas said, "Then Atipas is against all the world." So, it's a heavy trip. Indeed. Perpetua is recorded by Pliney the Elder. I am VERY interested in the switching over of "Christianity" as we know it through the Romish Church from the traditional Jewish religion it was considered, per Pliney. There are many, many serious puzzle pieces there. I'm looking for Pliney the Elders works now. I practically can recite Constantine's life at this point. But that is not so much the mystery. It is in the handing over of Jesus totally to the gentiles. Very interesting. I'm personally not too thrilled what the gentiles did with Jesus. Perhaps Jesus isn't either...we just won't know until we know, will we?
