As I said, I'm not American and aren't familiar with your
health care system. In Australia, private health care is paid
for by the individual, and in general, people build up a long
term relationship with their health insurance cover.

Most Australians rely on the public health system though.
1.5% of our taxes are for Medicare and although there are
long waiting times for elective procedures, the system is
generally quite good.

Regardless of choice (usually influenced by income), both
systems have a long term relationship between patients and
health care provider. There is an increasing awareness of
the cost savings of preventative medicine, and funding is
increasingly directed towards health awareness programmes and
preemptive medicine.

Perhaps IMAT's CT applications would be well received Down Under.

Sorry to hear about the sad state of affairs in the US.
