Costa: I agree with you totally. In fact I picked up some more shares today. This company's Search'97 product will outperform everybody in this market. People do not understand that in order to compete today, the name of the game is open architecture. No company, except Verity, can truly claim that. Will there be competition -- YES! But, as of now, Verity is in the driver seat. The key here is for VRTY to make money -- they need good quarterly earnings. From pure business point of view, they have incurred higher then expected expenses due to their R&D efforts which dragged the profitability. Now that the product is just about out, the selling will cover expenses and they will show profit. That's a killer combination for stock price. People will tell you all different stories -- stick to your guns. This is a volatle stock -- only patience will take you through it. Otherwise you will loose your pants. Sincerely, Jack Shoyket
