James, The first article you mention pretends the MMC to be used by MP3 is made by Siemens. This is not correct. Siemens makes ROM MMCs - SanDisk makes Re-writable MMCs. Big difference. The article says : MP3 will use re-writable MMCs. Make the inference. The second one uses internal flash memory. I also think this is a potentially huge market for SNDK. Indeed a high capacity is required. May SNDK keep on being successful R&Dwise! Expect more than 100MB before 2000. Cost per MB close to $1.
