David: Usually I can switch from SI to Datek in 15 seconds or so, in
put my trade in, say, 15 seconds, and, if it is a marketable order, get a confirmation on my execution within 30 seconds or so.

Screen never freezes, I never have internet problems with Datek and I am a very happy customer.

They are best with NASDAQ stocks, but I use them mainly for NYSE.

With NASDAQ, I can input a limit order, and watch the bid/ask change on my PCQuote real-time screen within 5 seconds, usually. NYSE tends to take longer, but I think that may have something to do with the NYSE specialists, rather than Datek.

It's pretty amazing. Read the Datek thread for lots of negative comments and other posts of mine as well. I'M NOT SAYING THEY'RE PERFECT!!!
