I am borrowing stock from Fidelity/Spartan. The number for the trading desk is 800-588-0420. Feel free to call and ask if any Zitel is available to short. I've been able to find shares every day without fail. You'll need minimum $20,000 in cash/equity to open an account. I typically use this account for all my short selling because they do not charge a commission to cover. I understand that people trading through Schwab have been having a problem finding stock to short. One of my friends has been calling in every day and finally shorted a small block today at 37. You should know that shares are borrowed from margin accounts, and availability may vary from broker to broker. Makes me wonder how intelligent you are.
