I feel the most damage of who God really is was done by the human race. Yes their are thousands of religions, and Millions of self proclaimed teachers, and from your point of view I am sure you will agree what a mess. But forget all the preachers, churches, and self proclaimed teachers and remember were you came from if you can't then how can you foretell were you will go when you die. If you study religion you will find that most of all the denominations Catholic, protestant, Mormons, Buddhist, ect.................... pick a choose things out of the Old Testament as well as the New Testament and what they do is add whatever to form their denomination. The Torah is the basis of the Jewish religion. Not because I am Jewish but I believe the Torah is Gods word. If people were honest with themselves all religion as we know it today is centralized around the most profound document (Torah). In it you go from creation to the period Just before Jesus gave his life on the cross. The Torah I believe is a focal point did you know that Israel is located centrally in relation to the other countries around it. It is true many horrible things were done in the name of Christianity but that in no way represents what God is it only reveals the poor state of what human nature is all about. Just because Churches or people who claim to be blessed misrepresent what God is does not make God out to be the example they claim, it is mentioned in the Bible in many places that their will be false prophets, teachers, and false Christ's. Hmmmm false Christs does that not make you think have you ever been told you are going to hell? Has the human race been laying Judgement on others? The Bible clearly states that we should not Judge or less we ourselves will be Judged. I was lucky to have very good parents and my Father never claimed to be a believer to this day he has never expressed himself in any way. So I do not base my feeling on what God is by the actions of others if I did I would not believe the way I do. Faith is a very powerful tool, and I believe strongly that if someone wants the truth revealed God will reveal it at the appropriate time in ones life. Jesus came in the world not to Judge and condemn he came to save the world with the sacrifice of his life. I am not interested in debating about the morality of others I am only to share my beliefs and what I feel God has done for all he created because what it comes down to no matter who did what to another human being morally or immoral the bottom line is that death means nothing to God just an entry into another dimension and we will all be accountable for our actions good and bad and if we choose not to accept all that is good (Jesus) then how will we be able to function sinless and good if we choose to rebel against all that is good, that just reveals what satan is he as well choose not to accept who and what God is its called pride, a far cry from being wise and humble. So if we choose not to accept that we are an inferior people while on this earth (sinful)than how are we to understand who and what God is when we face him. I am not interested in Ghosts, spaceships, religious fanatics, psychics, palm readers ECT....... I only know what I am and I am a sinner and far from perfect and no better than all of any other of Gods creation so I choose to accept Jesus and acknowledge my sin for I feel God is just and he wants nothing less than to be with all of what he created for eternity. He gave us a free will to choose he loves us all but if one rejects his love and authority than though not confessing than what is he to do.
