JP, I will be dropping my 4868 and 3519 extensions off at the post office, along with a couple of monster checks, at 11:59pm on the 15th. Time for the flipper to pay his dues :-((((((((((((((((((( I've heard that you can slightly enhance your chances of avoiding an audit by taking the automatic extension. The IRS agents get their calendars & quotas filled up by August for next year's torture sessions. Unless you have an obvious red flag item. What's your professional two cents on this idea?
