Its real hard for me to imagine the shift to NCs in corporations. 1. Downloading applicaitons or 'applets' takes time. Most networks are still slow. And always will be slower than a dedicated pc. 2. Remember the Power PC, X-terminals,3270s. Sorry, I think Wintel will be around a while. 3. Who can you buy a Sun NC from ? Answer: Sun. Sounds pretty proprietary to me. I'm convinced. Get out the way INTC, DELL, CPQ, MSFT. The NC is coming. Britt PS - I do think a $200 internet appliance for the home could sell well. I think that is more of what Oracle is talking about, but who knows ??
