I know what you mean, I'll tell you the scariest one I had.

I told an excellent poster on tech stocks last April to get OEX puts.

So he figured that shorting the market meant selling puts. Whoops. The market was selling off like a bat out of hell when I found out he was SHORT puts.

Shook me up, I can tell you.
