Why do you think the bounce will be reversed? How effective have such interventions been in the past? I read that the US was neither selling dollars nor buying yen. Seems like it has every appearance of being just a blip. What seems significant to me is the now explicit agreement of the US with the Japanes objective, but I'm not sure I understand the significance.
