I believe you get the CORRUPTED data - quote plus has new low on that day as 97, (shocked me because the market didn't look that bad) but when I check WSJ that night, it has only 34, IBD has 30 reported in next day's newspaper. When things suddenly go out of whack, better check your data from different sources first.

btw, 10 dma has never got above 40. I use WSJ for my data - they mostly +/- 5 from IBD numbers, never figure out why. But close enough not to cause major discrepancy.
