Yo doin good here, I need to check yo out on yo Drachms and Scruples. I certainly hope yo got some Scruples!!

Measuration is certainly interesting to an old apothecary like me. More interesting is biblical measure. Terms like talents and sheckel and all the others. The guidance was to give full measure, and certainly not to tip the scales in your favor. My hope is that we can still conform to those principles here in this time. Your do your part, and I will try to do mine.

A barrel of oil is approximately 42 US gallons. A contract is 42000 Gallons. Strange, is it not.

The us standard railroad gauge is 4 feet 8 inches. Strange figure! Do you know its origin. Actually, and going back to its origin, it derives from the wheel width of Ceasars Chariots. They made the chariot, and they made the road. Future carts and wheels were made to fit the ruts that they created. Strange how change is so slow and affects future change.

I mean to give no lesson here other than we are not nearly as smart or as unique as we think we are. Just as simple as that. We are certainly subject to the influence of the past and of the present and of the future and perhaps all at the same time and it is certainly confusing for most of us.

It certainly is for me, I hope it is for you, because if you think that you have the answer, I would bet that you do not!!
