If you're implying that web content will drive a lot of system upgrades I have to wonder if that's true. With 100+ million Pentium and 486 PC's out there, Webmasters are pretty reluctant to provide content that won't run on these machines. Content needs to run on as many PC's as possible to provide the most value. Just about all plug-ins and helpers work fine on these machines.
If anything, content will probably have more impact on interconnect hardware then systems. Would hate to download the Gabo content on a 28K modem. ;-)
BTW, I first saw the Gabo site in DC a month ago, running on a Webmasters K6/233.
Since then I've looked at it on both my P/166 and PII/266 and can't tell any difference.
