EMC is indeed a very successful company, but IMO it's built its fortune on superior execution and marketing. Great products, industrial strength, but today, not proprietary advantage.

They're working hard to build EMC unique software and capabilities around their storage. My sense is that the market penetration is
not there yet.

Just finished Gorilla Game .... great book, fits my style.
