re brokers: the only place I feel safe investing my IRA in this market is in brokerage stocks- they're treating me just fine and I know their heart and soul is tied up in protecting MY stock. :-) Look back at the last ten years- the only sector that consistently beats the S&P is brokerage stocks and big banks with brokerage operations. Better than tech stocks!
