purething, while children of mothers and/or fathers who smoke have more asthma than other children ( a statistic which would seem to prove that second hand smoke is quite dangerous), there are many other environmental causes of asthma. So you cannot really use the asthma argument to prove that second hand smoke is less dangerous than some of us think it is.
